are a band from england. they have been with haircut records for a long time, and have developed a healthy relationship based on mutual distrust. their members include: duncan, who sings his songs and strums his guitar; henry who sings his songs and twiddles his guitar; and thom, who tends to elegantly wrestle tunes from anything he can get his hands on, and sings when no-one else is looking. giles plays with computers while they play, and tries to sneak onstage sometimes. they often persuade sam to play drums with them when he's not too busy being an international hiphop superstar.

they have recorded two EPs for haircut, two christmas singles, one pagan single and one album about sleep. you can buy some or all of these in the bazaar, and there are some songs to steal there as well. but for you faithful kids who came to read and not to consume, we have a terribly exciting rare download for you:

each member of carpet ministry is busily trying to outdo the others with their extra-curricular musical activities. duncan plays in esio trot, thom masterminds the biscuit situation, and henry is going through his world music phase. in case you were counting giles as a member, which is inadvisable unless you want to excite the poor boy, he is too unkempt to appear on stage with any other group at the moment, but will happily twiddle nobs and stroke faders for pretty much anyone who asks
