are a band from brighton. they came to haircut records through duncan, who strayed from the carpet ministry fold long enough to find matt, cat and adey to join him. everyone was in bands already (i think matt is in at least 10, look for them here) so they were naturally above the oppressive tradition of practising, but have proceeded directly to playing quite a few shows around brighton and making a record, which you will soon be able to get your grubby hands on in the bazaar
so, matt and duncan both sing their songs and play guitar, adey plays bass and cat plays drums. they have their own website, made by matt, which is much more colourful than this one and even has music and pictures. it is over here at the mentalist association. not only do the mentalists host websites, they have their own record label thing going on and would probably be haircut records' only competition if we were into that kinda thing. but i dont reckon that we are, and we wouldn't win anyway cos they've got all of matt's noisier bands like yeborobo and neither do i and moulescoomb sword gang. we can't actually prove it, but we're pretty sure that sure that the noisier your band the better you are at strong-arm business tactics. so be careful, kids, and listen to esio trot
they have been gigging around brighton for quite a while now, and you can be sure that when we hear of their next performance, you'll be the first to know, if you go to their gigs page
for booking information, you had better get yourself to their myspace. check them live onstage through fuzzy internet cameras.
