carpet ministry - christmas oranges b/w less presence

the first christmas single by carpet ministry was basically an exercise in exorcising sexual tension between duncan and henry. they wrote a song each, recorded them in a 'proper studio' for the first time, and went head over heels trying to look unimpressed with each others backing vocals. fortunately these were drowned out by our hired-in choir, to whom many thanks, more of which go out to faithful sam, who made his first appearance drumming for the ministry here, and has remained a faithful accomplice despite the unquantifiable damage to his hiphop credentials.
