do you like my new haircut recordings was set up some time ago when a small and cunning group of market analyists noticed a huge gap in the international markets between the g-unit and the gorillaz. our crack team of loyal dregs have been seeking this elusive ‘sound’ ever since, but in the meantime we have developed a corporate strategy of stop-gap “indierock” releases, in order to keep our target market as confused as possible.

we are currently scraping sweetie-money together by selling records from carpet ministry and the maccabees. these are soon to be joined by delightful new musics from hiphop empresario the sloth, kentish popsters the biscuit situation and brighton music band esio trot. with the exception of the sloth, who is entirely a law unto himself (and we wouldn’t have it any other way) we at haircut tend to help out with the recording process with our ‘studio’, which can these days be found off brick lane under the duke of uke. we have even been known to produce entire albums without leaving the damn place. the act of recording music seems to be an infectious one, as certain fringe elements are beginning to make entire records without even informing the management. this is officially frowned upon, in case the bands should realise their independence from Management and Technology, but is permitted due to the laziness of Management. while we may give the appearance of being lofty and inaccessable due to busy schedules, we are very often up for making records with new people. we are even gracious enough to accept demo recordings sent earnestly to this address:
