HDIF Presents
EASTER SUN
RED SHOE DIARIES
TIGERCATS
THE SUNNY STREET

Thursday 27th May
Easter Sun + Red Shoe Diaries + Tigercats + The Sunny Street
Jamm, 261 Brixton Road, SW9 6LH, 7.30pm, FREE admission, map here

Easter Sun
A brilliant new band formed by Rob Sekula (once of the 14 Iced Bears), Easter Sun combine the sun-drenched perfect pop of his former charges with a dash of pedal-steel lovin’ country rock. Fans of The Razorcuts, early Primal Scream and Gram Parsons, step this way.

Red Shoe Diaries
Fresh from playing this year’s London Popfest, Nottingham five piece Red Shoe Diaries play dreamy indie pop in the vein of Belle & Sebastian, Butcher Boy and Tindersticks. They were fantastic at the 100 Club and we’re very happy to have lured them back to the capital.

Tigercats
A brand new band featuring members of Esiotrot and Hexicon, east London’s Tigercats reimagine The Wave Pictures and Violent Femmes as spiky, infectious post-punk anti-heroes. We haven’t heard a new band sound this perfectly-formed for quite some time, so we’re looking forward to seeing them live.

The Sunny Street
When they’re not playing together as Electrophonvintage, Delphine, Remi, Christos and Ian moonlight as The Sunny Street, sketching gorgeous love letters in the atmospheric hinterland between indiepop and dreampop. They last appeared at a HDIF Presents in 2007, supporting Cats On Fire, so it’s high time we had them back.
