Would-Be-Goods
Gorgeous baroque indiepop courtesy of Jessica Griffin and company. Would-Be-Goods 1988 debut album featured Jessica backed by The Monochrome Set, while later releases featured Talulah Gosh/Heavenly guitarist Peter Momtchiloff, Headcoatees drummer Deborah Green, Lupe Nuñez-Fernandez of Pipas and Andy Warren of Adam And The Ants and the Monochrome Set. Their classic single, “The Camera Loves Me”, is a HDIF favourite and we’re delighted that they’ve agreed to play for us.

Tigercats
A brand new band featuring members of Esiotrot and Hexicon, east London’s Tigercats reimagine The Wave Pictures and Violent Femmes as spiky, infectious post-punk anti-heroes. They’ve become London live favourites since they last played for us in May, and we’re looking forward to having them back.

A Fine Day For Sailing
An indiepop group from Exeter recently relocated to London, A Fine Day For Sailing cite Belle and Sebastian, the Beach Boys, Television Personalities and Orange Juice.as influences. Their ranks contain a couple of the now disbanded Gresham Flyers. This is their debut HDIF appearance.

Owl + Mouse
A three piece from London, Owl + Mouse play heartbreaking indie folk that sounds like Mazzy Star and the quieter moments of Camera Obscura and Allo Darlin’.
